Learn about Sharing information with your project team

Project related information, including quotes, orders, studies and related results/reports and invoices, can be shared among registered users. To share with another user, that user must be 1) a registered user and 2) must have the same email domain as the sharer (except for Study information, which can be shared with any registered user).

Sharing grants read-only access to the recipient. The recipient can view an item, or clone it (in the case of quotes and orders) and if a study is shared, the recipient can also view the reports and the results for that study.

  1. Go to a "My" page (e.g., "My Orders", "My Studies & Reports", etc.).
  2. Under the "Shared" column, click on the share icon for the line to be shared.

  3. On the pop up, type in the email address(es) for the individual(s) with whom you want to share
  4. Select which article(s) you want to share and save.  Note: from one "My" page (e.g., "My Orders") you can share items from one or more "My" page (e.g., "My Studies & Reports", "My Invoices", etc.).  Once an item is shared, the share icon will be a dark color on those "My" pages for shared item(s).                    
  5. To unshare, click on the share icon and remove a user(s) as needed.

Once shared, a recipient(s) can find the shared item(s) by going to the related "My" page and select the "Shared with me" tab.
