BACKGROUND INFORMATION
In vivo plasma and tissue protein binding assay harvests samples from test article-treated mice, followed by the ultrafiltration method to remove the bound fraction by 10K MWCO filter plate. The filtrates are then analyzed with LC-MS/MS to obtain the peak area of the unbound fraction. The bound rates are calculated with the total fraction sample.

All aspects of this work are performed in general accordance with the Guide for the Care and Use of laboratory animals (National Academy Press, Washington, DC, 2016). The study protocol was approved by the Pharmacology Discovery Services IACUC and is performed with the oversight of veterinarians to assure the humane treatment of laboratory animals.
